Tool
Pool Volume & Product Calculator
Find your pool's volume, then scale the dose printed on your product label to your pool.
1 · Pool volume
Average depth = (shallow end + deep end) ÷ 2. Example: 3.5 ft and 8 ft → 5.75 ft.
Approximate volume
—US gallons
Formulas: rectangle = L × W × avg depth; round = π × (diameter ÷ 2)² × avg depth. × 7.48 gal per cubic foot, or × 264.17 gal per cubic meter. Freeform pools, sloped floors, and steps make this an estimate — your builder's documents are more exact.
2 · Scale the label dose
Copy the numbers from your product's label. Example: "Add 10 fl oz per 10,000 gallons to raise pH 0.2".

This tool only scales the dose your manufacturer printed — it doesn't choose a product or treatment. Your test results, the product's strength, and the label's instructions always win over this calculation. Many labels advise adding large corrections in portions and retesting in between.
